I would normally agree with the division between work and personal, enterprise and consumer. However, I'm finding that, more and more, consumer based products are making my work life easier and are the resources I use most to get my work done.

Wow, Jarandhel. Such vehemence against the idea of evolving technology. I can't believe I even have to say that one. Shared functionality is not equivalence.

You can use a computer to watch television shows. Does that make it a TV? Yes. Especially if they use it as their TV. Just like the flipside of how people hook up their PCs to their TV as their monitor. You can use a computer to play music. Does that make it a radio?

Cell phones may not be a perfect analogy, but it gets at my point. I don't think the need for activation negates something from being that thing.

I'm the kind of professional stuck behind a desk for up to 10 hours a day. On occasion, I also find myself traveling to other cities to be stuck behind other desks for hours upon end.

From what I understand, the Android store skims from developers similarly with a percentage from paid apps. I suppose a store full of free is the last thing Google wants either, right? Must hold true as well for RIM, Microsoft, Symbian, etc.
